What You Can Expect From Us We
will act with integrity, honesty and openness in our relationship with you. We will arrive ready to work at the appointed
time. We will notify you immediately if we are unavoidably detained. We will call the day before to remind you of your appointment.
We will return phone calls in a timely manner and at the most within 24 hours. We will share current information that will
help you better care for your horse. We will discuss options and fees for therapeutic work in advance. We will refer you to
another equine professional, if we believe it will be in your horse’s best interest. We will treat you and your horse
with respect. If working on your horse becomes unsafe for the horse, or us, we will advise you of options before proceeding.
We will do our best to meet and exceed your expectations, as we believe you are the sole judge of our performance. What We Would Like From You You
will be open, frank and honest with us. You will be committed to providing for your horse’s welfare. You will provide
us with all the information that we need to help your horse. You will take time
to be present, or arrange for your representative to be present, when we work with your horse(s). You will provide a safe,
dry, level and well-lighted place to work. You will listen to and give our advice due consideration;
however, we acknowledge your right to reject advice. You will pay your account upon receipt unless other mutually agreed-upon
arrangements are made in advance. We would greatly appreciate if you would refer others to us whom you believe would benefit

who desire top quality hoof care. Brian Fitzpatrick is a member of the American Farrier’s Association
and is committed to giving his clients quality services by his constant continuation of his education in all fields of farriery
and equine science. Brian Fitzpatrick is in the process of obtaining his certification as a farrier through the American Farrier’s
Association, has apprenticed under a number of the best farriers in California, is a proud graduate of Pacific Coast Horseshoeing
School, and frequently attends seminars/clinics to educate himself with new techniques and developments in the field of farriery
and equine science. Attending seminars by the accomplished Dr. Doug Butler, attending continuing education
courses across the nation hosted by the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) and the Florida Association of
Equine Practitioners (FAEP), studying with the world renowned Dr. Esco Buff, Phd, CF and networking with other accomplished
farriers in the field of farriery, Brian continues to prove himself as a true professional in his field. With over 30 years
of horse experience; 14 of those years in the field of Farriery, Brian Fitzpatrick continues to devote his life and profession
to the well being of the horse. Whether it is hosting educational clinics for farriers, attending seminars or researching
new products or techniques, Brian continues to pursue greater knowledge through continuing education to acquire a higher standard
with a focus on professional development. Brian works closely with a number of well respected veterinarians in the North Los
Angeles County area as well as several excellent farriers from all over United States. Brian firmly believes in forming a
"team" for your horse consisting of you the owner, your veterinarian and your farrier. Together you can devise a
plan for your horse(s) to insure a long and healthy life. Conditions
& Fees PAYMENT TERMS: Full Payment is expected at time of service.
First time customers are required to pay invoice for first appointment in CASH and Full Payment is expected at time of
service. DEPOSITS: A Deposit may be required for first time customers, first time large accounts, first time long distance
customers. Call for details. Deposits are non-refundable. NON SUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE: There will be a $30.00 Non Sufficient
Funds Fee for any Returned Checks or Stop Payments. Full amount of Invoice/Bill
plus Non Sufficient Funds Fee must be paid within ten (10) days from original service date or we will turn over
the dishonored check and all other available information relative to the incident to the Los Angeles District Attorney's
Office for potential criminal prosecution. TRAINING CHARGE: Someone must be available to catch and hold the horse(s)
and present payment. The location must be a safe, well-lighted, comfortable place to work. Horse must be trained and well
mannered. Work will be stopped when horses present a safety hazard. A Training Charge of $75.00
will be added if physical restraint or any type of training is necessary. We
will stop work if the situation becomes unsafe for us or the horse. Veterinary services to administer chemical restraint must
be arranged for in advance.APPOINTMENT CHANGE FEE: A 24-hour notice prior to appointment
must be given for any appointment changes. This includes: adding or subtracting horse(s) from the appointment scheduled, changing
what is scheduled to be done to the horse, canceling an appointment, etc. (after 24 hours, an appointment change fee of $150.00
will be charged). Travel/Mileage Fees are added according to
the schedule. PAYPAL SERVICE FEE: All payments made through PayPal will reflect a 10% PayPal Service Fee in addition
to the original invoiced amount. PayPal Service Fee will equal 10% of the amount of invoice. RANCH
CALL FEE: We do provide 24 hour services to our clients however in the event you need our services outside of normal business
hours which are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, there will be a $75.00 ranch call fee in addition to our normal charges.

hours and fees. Overnight Charges OVERNIGHT CHARGE: If two or more days are required to shoe several horses, an overnight
charge will be added to your bill. Overnight charges cover expenses to stay the night. The
overnight charge is a flat fee of $130.00 per night and will be collected at the same time the shoeing
bill is paid. Long Distance Shoeing LONG DISTANCE SHOEING FEES:Tickets for air travel, mileage to and from Burbank Airport and
Overnight Charges for food and lodging are paid for by the horse owner. A suitable area with forge and anvil must be supplied.
We will bring hand tools. MILEAGE FEE: Any services done outside the 30 mile service area radius, there is
a Mileage Fee of $1.00 per mile one way for any services done outside of 30 miles, example: Client is located 90 miles from
office, up to 30 miles is free of charge, the remaining 60 miles will be charged at $1.00 per mile totaling an additional
$60.00 to the shoeing bill one way. This is to cover wear and tear on the vehicle, gasoline and additional traveling time.
